Appetizer For Party

The holiday season means hanging out with friends and family. In this video, I will show you how to make an easy holiday appetizer, a Brie En Croute Recipe. We are going to bake brie in a puff pastry.

Brie En Croute Frequently Asked Question:

Do you take the rind off of brie cheese before baking?

A note about the rind: I did not cut the rind away before baking. It is perfectly digestible, and you don't notice it much after your brie is cooked. When I'm gobbling up brie unbaked, I sometimes trimmed the rind merely because I don't enjoy it.

How do you eat brie en croute?

Brush the surface of the brie en croute with egg wash.

Incorporate your preferred jam and nuts.

Cover the brie en croute in a puff pastry.

Bake: Cook for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Cool and serve: Transfer brie en croute to a sterilized work surface or serving plate and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit crackers and artisanal bread.

Can you reheat brie en croute?

Reheating Leftover Brie En Croute.  If you have leftovers, you can loosely wrap it in aluminum foil and heat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is drippy again and the puff pastry is hot.
